Out design process
Enclosures are often treated as an afterthought, but we believe they deserve more attention. The case you choose for your electronics isn’t just a container; it’s an extension of your project. A well-designed enclosure protects, elevates, and enhances. That’s why we focus on getting every detail right—from the smooth edges to the perfect finish to the choice of materials that feel just as good as they look.
We draw inspiration from the masters of timeless design. The clean, functional lines of Braun, the thoughtful minimalism of Dieter Rams and Fukasawa, the bold simplicity of Polaroid, and the enduring elegance of Bang & Olufsen and classic Apple. These aren’t just influences; they’re reminders of what’s possible when design prioritizes purpose and beauty in equal measure.
At the heart of our process is a belief that less is more. Simplicity isn’t about cutting corners; it’s about focusing on what truly matters. We craft enclosures that don’t overshadow your electronics but complement them, seamlessly fitting into any workspace.
We’re not here to make loud statements or flashy designs. Instead, we focus on creating enclosures that quietly do their job well—keeping your electronics safe while adding a touch of understated style. It’s not just about looks; it’s about creating something that feels right, works well, and lasts.
Fabrication and materials
DinoBoxes feature a durable aluminum body with customizable top and bottom covers. The covers can be crafted from various materials, including aluminum, with finishing options like powder coating or anodizing, as well as acrylic or polycarbonate (available in solid or translucent options). The body itself is always aluminum and comes in a range of finish options.
Assembly
Covers and body are hold together by M4 screws. Some models designed for benchtop or desktop use have four screws that secure the bottom cover and also attach small rubber feet.
